Electro-Metrics EM-6894 Manual Vertical (Rod) Antenna performs electric field measurements from 9 kHz to 30 MHz. A ten position rotary switch switches in the appropriate matching network for the frequency selected. The EM-6894 can be used with any equivalent 50-ohm receiver/analyzer designed and calibrated for use in a 50-ohm system.

The EM-6894 is used in conjunction with the following accessories:

• EM-6889 Counterpoise
• EM-6136 Tripod
• EM-1312 Coaxial Cable

The bottom of the base has a 5/8 – 20 threaded receptacle for mounting to the EM- 3136 Tripod.

Applications

The EM-6894 Vertical Antenna uses passive circuits to transform electric field components to voltages between 9 kHz to 30 MHz.

The EM-6894 is used for military EMI specification compliance testing in accordance with MIL-STD-826A, MIL-STD- 461/462, and high voltage power line interference. Calibration data is supplied with each antenna.

NOTE: Though designed as a receiving antenna, the EM 6894 can be used as a transmitting antenna PROVIDED the power applied to the antenna DOES NOT exceed 1W maximum
